Carroll At Fort Dodge Invitational
Carroll competed at a deep and tough meet in Fort Dodge on Saturday, finishing in 4th place with 360 points. The Tigers had one champion as part of three top 3 finishes in the individual races, they added two top 3 finishes in relays. Carroll finished with six more individuals in 4th or 5th place and were 4th in their other relay.
Emma Myers earned Carroll’s top finishes, winning the 100 Breast in 1:08.33 while taking 2nd place in the 200 IM in 2:18.55. Amelia Holt added a 3rd place in the 100 Free in 58.03. Carroll took 3rd in the 200 Free Relay with Emma Myers, Natalie Kent, Hailey Burns and Amelia Holt. They swam a 1:45.94. Carroll was also 3rd in the 400 Free Relay in 4:05.03 with Natalie Kent, Zelda DeMoss, Mai Wellingerhof and Amelia Holt.
Carroll finished 4th in the 200 Medley Relay with Mai Wellingerhof, Emma Myers, Hailey Burns and Zelda DeMoss. Wellingerhof was 4th in the 200 Free with Natalie Kent in 5th. Amelia Holt took 5th in the 50 Free, Hailey Burns was 5th in the 100 Fly and Zelda DeMoss finished 4th in the 500 Free. Mai Wellingerhof added another 4th place finish to her day in the 100 back.
Carroll heads to Des Moines Lincoln Invite on Saturday.
