Ar-We-Va moves to 4-0 overall and 2-0 in the district with a dominating road win. The defense forced three fumble in the 1st half as the Rockets built a 55-12 lead at half. Blayne Smith and Wade Ragaller each capitalized on the turnovers with Smith scoring three touchdowns on the ground and Ragaller punching in a rushing touchdown. West Harrison stayed close in the 1st quarter as the Rockets hurt themselves with penalties, but led 26-12 entering the 2nd quarter.
Blayne Smith hit Wyatt Ragaller for a touchdown, staring the continuous clock in the 2nd half. West Harrison answered with a touchdown but Wyatt Ragaller broke off a long touchdown run, and Johnathan Riesselman picked off a pass, helping the Rockets build a 69-18 lead heading into the 4th quarter. Damon Thomsen scored on a 49-yard run in the 4th and Riesselman had his second interception of the game.
Ar-We-Va hosts Woodbine on Friday. The Tigers are 2-2 overall 2-1 in the district, coming off a 78-32 win over Siouxland Christian on Friday.
