Brincks Exteriors Sports Report: State Boys Golf Day One Results; Kuemper and Justin Hanks of SCC

State Golf Results for Monday, May 22nd

Class 2A – Kuemper and Justin Hanks of South Central Calhoun

Day one of the state golf meet teed off Monday morning with the Kuemper Knights and Justin Hanks of South Central Calhoun competing. As a team, Kuemper finished the day in seventh place with a score of 327. Grundy Center leads through day one with a score of 296. 

Maverick Schwabe finished the day tied for fourth overall individually with a score of 75. Despite a score of 79 on the day, Braxton Vonnahme was tied with a group of golfers for 22nd overall. Kayden Schon finished day one with a score of 84 followed by Carter Putney who had a score of 89 to wrap up the scoring for Kuemper. Justin Hanks of South Central Calhoun was another individual who was tied for fourth overall with a score of 75. 

Day two of State Golf continues on Tuesday, May 23rd at 9:00 AM.
