Boys District Golf Results Monday, May 15th

South Central Calhoun and Kuemper At Carroll Country Club- Class 2A

Kuemper made it look easy on Monday, qualifying for State by 32 strokes over 2nd place Van Meter. The Knights earned Medalist and Runner-Up Medalist honors, finishing with all four of their scores in the top 9. South Central Calhoun had a good day, taking 4th place and qualifying Justin Hanks to the State Tournament as an individual. Kuemper finished with a 299 to win the meet with Van Meter in 2nd place with a 331 and Des Moines Christian finishing 3rd with a 337. The Titans were tied with PCM with a 345, finishing in 4th place. Van Meter and Des Moines Christian both advance as teams to the State meet.

Maverick Schwabe earned Medalist honors for Kuemper with a 72, followed by Braxton Vonnahme with a 73 and a Runner-Up Medalist. Kayden Schon finished 4th for the Knights with a 74 and Carter Putney had a 80, finishing in 9th place.

Justin Hanks paced South Central Calhoun with a 77, finishing 7th and qualifying for State as an individual. Bryan Steig finished with an 83, taking 16th place. The Titans got a 91 from Charlie Nattress and Caleb Gaffney finished with a 94.

Audubon and Logan Kenyon and Jacob Estrada of Coon Rapids Bayard At Willow Creek At LeMars- Class 1A

The season came to an end for Audubon and for Jacob Estrada and Logan Kenyon, both of Coon Rapids Bayard. Kinsley Pierson won the meet with a 324, topping 2nd place Gehlen Catholic with a 340 and St Mary’s Remsen with a 343. Audubon was 9th, shooting a 377, three strokes behind St Edmond in 8th place. Mason Dicks of Newell Fonda was the Medalist with a 73 and Emerson Pratt was the Runner-Up Medalist with a 74 for Kingsley Pierson.

Olivier Deist paced the Wheelers with an 87, taking 17th place while Henry Burr shot a 93, Jay Remsburg a 98 and Evan Alt a 99.

Jacob Estrada led the Crusaders with a 89 and Logan Kenyon finished with a 94.
