Boys Golf Results Wednesday, May 10th
Carroll hosted Class 3A At Carroll Country Club
Carroll finished 6th as a team and Bryce Berlau was their top individual, also finishing in 6th place. Carroll hosted a strong field at the Carroll Country Club on Wednesday. Gilbert won with a 309, led by Brock Sndyer, who earned Medalist with a 70. Hampton Dumont advanced at the 2nd place team with a 327. They were led by Tucker Heeren, who finished with a 77, a stroke in front of a 3-way-tie. Both teams advance to play at Landsmeer by Orange City on Monday.
Bryce Berlau paced the Tigers, just missing advancing as an individual. Berlau shot a 79, taking 6th place overall. Wyatt Ragaller shot a 85 with Miles Bogue shooting a 93 and Alek Sinnard adding a 97.
The season wrapped up for the Tigers.

East Sac, Kuemper and South Central Calhoun At Willow Vale At Mapleton- Class 2A
Kuemper and South Central Calhoun advanced as a team and combined for 7 players in the top 10. The Knights claimed the sectional title with a 308, topping both South Central Calhoun and Ridge View, which both shot a 328. The Titans won the tie-breaker with Caleb Gaffney shooting a 91 to a 93 for Levi Albers, finishing in 2nd place with the Raptors in 3rd. East Sac had one golfer in the top 15, taking 7th place as a team with a 370. The Knights and Titans both advance to the District at the Carroll Country Club on Monday, starting at 10:00.
Kuemper swept the top three places, placing four players in the top 10. Braxton Vonnahme earned Medalist with a 73, followed by Carter Putney as Runner-Up Medalist with a 75. Maverick Schwabe finished in 3rd with a 77 and Kayden Schon added an 83, good for 10th place.
Justin Hanks paced the Titans, taking 4th with a 78 a stroke in front of Bryan Steig who finished 6th with a 79. Charlie Nattress gave the Titans a third player in the top 10, taking 8th with an 82. Merle Stauter added a 89 for the Titans final team score.
Carter Hogrefe was the top performer for East Sac, finishing with a 86, Bradyn Burns added a 89. The final two scores for the Raiders were Jack Gullett with a 92 and Landon Graff shooting a 103.

Audubon and IKM-Manning At Quail Run At Neola- Class 1A
Audubon advanced as the Sectional Champ and will advance to Willow Creek Golf Course at Gehlen Catholic on Monday. The Wheelers finished with a 334, but edged Westwood, which also shot a 334 on the 5th players scorecard. Henry Burr shot an 86 for the Wheelers, finishing in 11th place while Tom Heilman shot an 87 for Westwood. The Wheelers had four players in the top 10, led by Jay Remsburg with an 80 and Runner-Up Medalist honors. Evan TenEyck of Boyer Valley earned Medalist with a 77. IKM-Manning finished with a 420, taking 8th place. The Wolves were led by Josh Walker who shot a 98.
Evan Alt added a 83 for Audubon, taking 4th place with Ryan Hermansen taking 9th place with a 85 and Oliver Deist finishing in 10th place with a 86.
Zander Richards added a 105 for IKM-Manning, followed by Carson Woebke with a 107 and Devyn Sander with a 110.

Coon Rapids Bayard and Glidden Ralston At Lakeside At Fort Dodge- Class 1A
Coon Rapids Bayard fell short of advancing as team, taking 4th place, but advanced two individuals to the Districts Willow Creek Golf Course at Gehlen Catholic on Monday. The Crusaders shot a 363 with Glidden Ralston taking 6th place with a 442. St Edmond (352), Newell Fonda (355) and GTRA (357) advanced as teams. Jack McElroy of St Edmond was the Medalist, shooting a 80 with Mason Dicks of Newell Fonda was Runner-Up Medalist. Logan Kenyon of Coon Rapids Bayard took 4th and Jacob Estrada of Coon Rapids Bayard finished 7th and both advanced to the Districts on Monday as individuals. Kenyon shot a 87 with Estrada finishing with a 90.
Max Shirbroun and Gavin Heiderscheit both shot 93 for the Crusaders as their third and fourth scores.
Ethan Olberding led the Wildcats with a 106, followed by Mark Lensch with a 108, Carson Peters with a 113 and Blayce Nelson finishing with a 115.
