Girls Golf Results for Thursday, May 11th
Coon Rapids Bayard at IKM-Manning Invitational
For the first time this season, the IKM-Manning Wolves were dealt their first loss of the season as they hosted Boyer Valley, Coon Rapids Bayard, and Harlan on Thursday. The Wolves finished with a score of 206 compared to Harlan’s winning score of 190. Coon Rapids Bayard did not have enough golfers to have a team score.
Kylie Powers too was defeated in her long streak of receiving medalist or runner up medalist honors. She finished third overall with a score of 46 and lost the tiebreaker against Kara Kenkei of Harlan. Timber Svendsen of Harlan received medalist honors with a score of 44. Maeve Nielsen was able to finish the rainy day with a score of 51. Brooke Booth was next up with a score of 53 and Ella Richards and Megan Williams rounded out the top scorers for the Wolves with the same score of 56.
Coon Rapids Bayard brought two golfers to the invite. Gracyn Robbins led the team with a score of 72 followed by Summer South who had a score of 75.
The Wolves are back in action on Friday, May 12th for their regional meet at their home course. Coon Rapids Bayard will travel to Woodward Granger Friday for their regional meet.
