East Sac and South Central Calhoun At Twin Lakes Conference Meet At Sac City
South Central Calhoun had four events finish in the top three while East Sac finished with three events in the top three at the Twin Lakes Conference Meet on Tuesday in Sac City. The Titans edged the Raiders for 6th place with 50 points with the Raiders scoring 46 points. Sioux Central and SE Valley had a comfortable lead, with Sioux Central winning the title with 130 points and SE Valley 2nd with 126. Newell Fonda ended in 3rd with 94 points.
Brock Nattress took 2nd for the Titans in the 100 Meters, the Titans were 3rd in the 4×100 with Brock Nattress, Keegan Soard, Zakiah Pettigrew and Chrsitian Hansman. Andrew Anderson was 3rd in the High Jump and Wyatt Mernka took 3rd in the Discus.
Parker Engel paced the Raiders with a 2nd place in the 1600 Meters, Garret Ortner was 3rd in the 400 Hurdles. The Raiders took 3rd in the 4×400 with Trace Kraus, Asher Lawler, Logan Schroeder and Garret Ortner.

Audubon and IKM-Manning at Western Iowa Conference at Underwood Boys
The IKM-Manning Wolves finished among the top teams Tuesday at the Western Iowa Conference meet at Underwood while Audubon had some top performances. The Wolves finished second behind Underwood who won the meet with 166.5 points compared to IKM-Manning’s 127 points. Audubon finished seventh overall with 47 points.
The Wolves ended the day with 11 top three finishes overall. Caden Keller was nearly perfect as he had three first place finishes and one second. He won the 800-meter run with a time of 2:08.69, 1600-meter run with a time of 4:52.94, and 3200-meter run with a winning time of 10:29.83. Along with Jase Lueth, Eli Dreyer, and Ben Ramsey, Keller helped the distance medley relay team to a second place finish with a time of 3:58.49. Reed Hinners finished just behind Keller in second-place in both the 1600- and 3200-meter runs with times of 4:53.90 and 10:31.20 respectively.
In other relays for IKM-Manning, Lueth, Cooper Irlmeier, Dreyer, and Davis Rasmussen were able to win the 4X200 with a winning time of 1:35.51, the 4X800 relay team, composed of Hunter Smith, Ramsey, Abe Polzien, and Hinners got second-place with a time of 8:46.51, and the 4X400 relay team, composed of Smith, Dreyer, Irlmeier, and Ross Kusel, finished third overall with a time of 3:35.82. Kusel and Irlmeier also had top finishes in the field events. Kusel finished second in the high jump with a best jump of 5-10.00 followed by Irlmeier who had a jump of 5-08.00 to place second. Irlmeier was also third in the long jump event with a best jump of 19-02.00.
The Audubon Wheelers had three top relay finishes and three top individual finishes. The sprint medley relay team, composed of Manny Beisswenger, Dakota McCrainie, Aaron Olson, and Zeke Konkler, finished second overall with a final time of 1:40.60. The 4X100 team, composed of the same individuals, were able place third with a time of 45.75. And the shuttle hurdle relay team, composed of Olsen, Beisswenger, McCrainie, and Mason Steckler, were able to place fourth overall with a time of 1:07.32.
As for individual finishes, the Wheelers saw Konkler finish second overall in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:08.84 and fifth in the 400-meter dash with a final time of 53.47. Olsen also had a top finish in the 100-meter dash, finishing fourth overall with a final time of 12.05.
