Girls Golf Results for Tuesday, May 2nd, 2023
Kuemper and Carroll at Atlantic Invite
Weather conditions were a little on the windy side Tuesday when Kuemper and Carroll competed at Atlantic, but both teams came away with some solid individual performances. The Knights were able to finish sixth overall as a team with a score of 407 and Carroll finished ninth overall with a score of 425. Atlantic was the overall winner of the meet with a score of 383.
Kuemper’s Addy Beiter continued her successful freshman season with another standout performance finishing fifth overall individually with a score of 90. She was able to par on holes six, 14, and 15. Elsa Tiefenthaler wasn’t too far behind her teammate, finishing with a score of 94. Ella Pick was next with a score of 110 on the day and Grace Tigges finished up the scoring for Kuemper with a score of 113.
Delaney Schurke led the way for the Tigers with a score of 98 on the day. She was able to get a par on holes five, 10, and 15. Makalei Kofron was next up in the scoring for the Tigers, finishing with a score of 104. Following close behind was Olivia Boes who finished the course with a score of 107. Finally, Amelia Henson finished the scoring for Carroll with a score of 116.
Kuemper is back on the course on Monday, May 8th when they compete in the Hawkeye 10 Conference Meet at Majestic Hills Golf Course. Carroll will be at home on Thursday, May 4th when they host Carlisle.

Glidden Ralston and Coon Rapids Bayard at CAM Anita
Glidden Ralston and Coon Rapids Bayard were both in action Tuesday as they traveled to CAM Anita for another Rolling Valley Conference Meet. The Wildcats were one of two teams with a full four golfers that included Boyer Valley, who won the meet with a score of 235 compared to Glidden Ralston’s 252. Coon Rapids Bayard brought two golfers to this meet.
Addy Boell of Glidden Ralston ended up with medalist honors after a stellar day with a score of 44. Reese Snyder of CAM Anita was named runner-up medalist with a score of 51. Elizabeth Lloyd was up next in the scoring with a score of 58 on the day. Summer Toms and Emmersynn Chaney finished right next to each other both with a score of 75.
Gracyn Robins and Summer South represented the Crusaders at this meet and finished with scores of 73 and 74 respectively. Coon Rapids Bayard did not have enough golfers to have a team score.
Both teams are back on the course on Thursday, May 4th when they compete at the Rolling Valley Conference Tournament at the Carroll Muni.
