Kuemper opened things up in the 2nd quarter, extending the lead slightly in a tight game, then held the lead for the rest of the game, picking up their 15th win of the season. The Knights shot the ball well inside the arc, going 23-33 from 2-point range. They shot 53.7% from the field, making 29 of 54 shots. Their inside strength helped them get to the free throw line 31 times. They made 19 free throws, outscoring South Hamilton by 18 points from the line. Kuemper led by 2 at the end of the 1st quarter, then extended the lead to 9 at half. They outscored the Hawks by 3-points in the 2nd half.

Kuemper had three players score in double figures with Michael Kasperbauer leading the way with 23 points. Carson Kanne had a really good game with 17 points and 8 assists. Carter Putney added 10 points and 8 rebounds. Dawson Gifford finished with 8 assists and 6 steals while Evan Adams had 8 points.

The Knights move to 15-5 on the season and will host Harlan on Saturday.

The Titans won a shoot-out with both offenses having big nights. The Titans scored 20 or more points in all four quarters including 30-points in the 1st quarter. The Tornadoes scored 52-points in the 2nd half but trailed 55-36 at half. South Central Calhoun hit 33-60 shots overall, making 11-26 from three along with going 19-22 from the free throw line.

Three players scored more than 20 points for the Titans with Eli Wheelock leading the way with 31 points, Gavin Batta and Tyler Lightner each had 23 points. Batta added 7 rebounds and Lightner finished with 7 steals. Keegan Soard pulled down 11 rebounds and Cole Higgins had 7 points.

The Titans improved to 16-4 and will host the winner of the Clarion Goldfield Dows Vs Ogden matchup Thursday, February 16th.

East Sac established their inside game with Ryan Clair and Luke Wright both  having good nights with Wright making 7 of 11 shots and Clair going 5-8. The Raiders shot 48.1% from the field, going 26-54 from the field though they only made 4 of 13 from beyond the arc. East Sac led 14-11 at the end of the 1st quarter, then opened it up to 31-20 at half. They outscored the Raptors 32-24 in the 2nd half. The Raiders struggled early to find their rhythm early with several turnovers and some missed shots. Caleb Eichorn was aggressive early, keeping the Raiders close with 6 quick points. Aden Vondrak knocked down a couple threes. The Raiders size took over in the 3rd quarter, grabbing several offensive rebounds. Brody Boeckman hit a couple big shots and Sam Julin knocked down a three, increasing their lead to 20 early in the 4th quarter.

Three Raiders were in double figures with Luke Wright and Ryan Clair both having 15 points, Aden Vondrak added 11 points and Brody Boeckman ended up with 9 points. Clair had a team high 8 rebounds with Caleb Eichorn finishing with 7 rebounds and tying with Aden Vondrak with a team high 4 assists. Karter Ludwig had 3 steals.

The Raiders improved to 10-10 on the season and will host Eagle Grove on Monday in Class 2A District 2 1st round action.
