South Central Calhoun had a hard time getting the momentum on their side as they took on their district leader South Hardin Friday night.
South Hamilton got the game going with their offense finding the endzone and getting a successful two-point conversion to lead 8-0 after the first quarter. South Central Calhoun was able to get points on the board with a rushing touchdown from Brock Nattress and a successful two-point conversion from Zach Trott. South Hamilton put up another 24 points in the second quarter and led 32-8 at halftime. The Hawks defense continued to keep South Central Calhoun at bay in the second half, not allowing the Titans to find the endzone. Meanwhile, their offense continued to ride their momentum from the first half and put up 30 second half points. The Titans were unable to find the answers to respond with, falling 62-8.
The loss drops South Central Calhoun to 3-3 overall on the season and 2-1 in Class 1A District 2. They have another big district game coming up this Friday when they host Woodward Granger.
