A slow start put the Wildcats in a hole they weren’t able to dig out of as they fell to 3-3 overall and 2-2 in district play. The loss hurts the Wildcats chances of finishing in the top three in the district as they are tied with Kingsley Pierson for 4th place with games against the top two teams the next two weeks. The Wildcats fell behind 24-8 after the first quarter and were down 48-8 at half. The Panthers found success throwing the ball on Friday night, finishing with 356-yards, completing 24-33 passes with six touchdowns. They didn’t run the ball much, carrying the ball just nine times, but ran for 110-yards. Glidden Ralston was able to run the ball well, finishing with 258-yards, averaging 6 yards per carry. The Wildcats hurt themselves with five turnovers, three interceptions and two fumbles while only turning over Kingsley Pierson once.

Colby Wallace was 5-16 throwing the ball for 58-yards and three touchdowns but was also intercepted three times. Ethan Olberding carried the ball 12 times for 87-yards, Alex Daniel had 74-yards rushing on 10 carries and Emmett Snyder finished with 61-yards on 9 carries. Snyder added 3 catches for 27-yards. Waylon Hein paced the defense with 7 tackles, 2 for a loss. Ethan Olberding added 5 tackles. Hein had an interception. Lucas Christian returned two kickoffs for 45-yards and Ethan Olberding averaged 31-yards per punt on three punts.

The Wildcats travel to Newell Fonda on Friday.
