East Sac and South Central Calhoun At SE Valley Invite
East Sac had a strong showing in their first meet of the season, placing five of their top six runners inside the top 50 and finishing 5th in a strong field. The Titans were missing their top runner but still ran well, taking 9th place, with two runners in the top 50. Parker Engel paced the Raiders, sitting in the top 10 before falling out during the second mile. he went out quickly, then slowed in mile two before closing the race strong. Isaiah Aragon gave the Raiders two runners in the top 20, taking 20th. Redge Potts ran a really good first race of his career. He felt he was strong most of the race and finished the way he wanted too. He led the Titans in 25th while Eli Wheelock was their next runner in 46th place.
