Audubon nabbed their first win of the season, taking five of the six matches in singles and getting another outstanding effort by Audrey Jensen and Kya Petersen in doubles. The Wheelers clinched the win, going 5-1 in singles matches and 43 wins to 33 losses in games. The Wheelers won just one of the three doubles matches, going 14-18 in games.
Audrey Jensen and Kya Petersen both went 2-0 on the day, winning both their singles matches and doubles match. Jensen won 8-4 and Petersen won 8-5 in singles. They combined to win 8-2 in doubles as they continue to be a strong doubles team. Jill Denny won her singles match 8-2, Ava Slater won 9-8 and Geralyn Anderson won 8-6.
The Wheelers will host Clarinda on Thursday.
