Carroll used a good strategy of taking advantage of some of East Sac’s passing in front of their net to score a pair of goals and benefited from the Raiders scoring a goal for Carroll as the Tigers won their second straight match. Emersyn Walsh scored the Tigers first goal with 28:34 left in the 1st half after stealing a Raider pass in front of the net. The lead remained 1-0 until the Raiders kicked the ball into their goal for a own goal, giving the Tigers a 2-0 lead with 9:13 1st half. Carroll held onto the 2-0 into the 2nd half when Emersyn Walsh scored her 2nd goal with 31:12 left. Both defenses did a nice job with Carroll using a pair of goalies in Jayden Kirsch and Kiley Riesberg. They combined to hold off 25 shots, keeping the Raiders offense out of the net. The Tigers did a nice job of taking advantage of their opportunities.
Emersyn Walsh led the Tigers with a pair of goals, on 3 shots on goal. Bella Baldus assisted on the Tigers first goal. Kiley Riesberg had 4 saves and Jayden Kirsch finished with 5 saves.
Addisen Ehler started her second game in the net, making several really nice plays, finishing with 8 saves.
The Tigers and Raiders head to the Denison Schleswig Tournament on Saturday.
