Clayton Weitl took a dump pass down the middle early in overtime and was able to keep control after it bounced off Raider Goalie Nick Crabb and another Raider to find an open net and give the Tigers a 1-0 win with 9:09 left in overtime. The Tigers have won two of their last three games while East Sac continues to play really well on defense but falls in another tight game. Both teams had chances to score in both halves, but missed shots or plays were made by Tanner Heithoff in the Tigers goal and Nick Crabb in the Raider goal. Carroll fired 17 shots at goal before finding the net in overtime. East Sac finished with 4 shots on goal.
Clayton Weitl was aggressive all game, leading Carroll with 8 shots on goal, and the game ending goal, Jireh Gallegos who had a great game defensively added 4 shots on goal and Elias Villanueva had 3 shots on goal. Tanner Heithoff had 8 saves in net.
Max Doepke led the Raiders with 2 shots on goal and Nick Crabb added 8 saves in net.
Carroll heads to Gilbert on Tuesday. East Sac hosts Fort Dodge next Thursday.

Greene County was able to jump on Kuemper early, leading 5-0 at half at the Knights fall to 0-7 on the season. The Rams finished with 18 shots on goal, to 4 for the Knights. Their constant pressure allowed them to pull away for the win.
Jace Pruitt led the Knight with 13 saves. Kuemper had four guys each with one shot on goal.
The Knights will look to pick up their first win on Saturday at the West Central Valley Tournament.
