Audubon, IKM-Manning, South Central Calhoun and Kuemper competed at the Carroll CoEd where 5 of our local teams across 3 classes competed. Early on in the meet there was some rain off an on. The main talk of the night will be the high wind speeds that were constant throughout the evening where runners had to keep layers on and change mindsets for their events. IKM and Carroll did the best with a 2nd and 3rd place finish.
IKM had 3 champions. Abe Polzien won the 400 with a time of 53.27. Max Butler won the 200 with a time of 23.99. Lastly IKM-Manning’s 4×400 with Max Butler, Ashton Ahrenholtz, Tyson Smith and Abe Polzien ran a 3:40.86. Carroll had 1 champion in Lual Tharjiath in the High Jump with a jump of 5-8. Redge Potts was SCC’s champion in the mile with a time of 4:52.71
Kuemper had Thomas Pottebaum, Wyatt Wunschel, Ryan Sundrup and Cooper Thelen take second in the 4×800. Adam Obrecht of Audubon took second in the 400 as well.
