Carroll led the whole way in picking up a nice road win in the Raccoon River Conference. They used a great defensive effort from Camryn Schable, getting some help with double teams in the post along with collapsing on her when she dribble penetrated. Carroll held ADM to 4-points in the 1st quarter, building a 12-4. They extended the lead by half, then stopped ADM in the 3rd, holding them to 5 points. Carroll finished the game with 14 steals.
Katelyn Aden was fantastic for Carroll, leading the offense with 17 points along with 6 rebounds and 3 steals. Shayne Aschinger added 10 points and Shay Sinnard had 7 points and 6 rebounds. Sinnard added 4 steals while Madison Tunning had a team high 5 steals. Camryn Schable had a great night on defense and pulled down 6 rebounds.
Carroll improves to 5-6 overall and 3-4 in the Raccoon River Conference. The Tigers are in Gilbert on Friday.

South Central Calhoun withstood a run by Humboldt in the 4th quarter as they pulled within 4 but the Titans surged back ahead and won a well played game by 10. Riley Batta came up with a block that helped spark the Titans and Kylee Schleisman, who had a great floor game, found Brenna McAlister for a bucket and the Titans regained control. With the Titans up by six, the defense caused a turnover and Riley Batta scored on the other end. The Titans locked in on defense the rest of the game, picking up their ninth straight win. Kylee Schleisman hit clutch free throws down the stretch.
Kylee Schleisman had a team high 28 points to go with 9 assists and 4 steals, she chipped in 5 rebounds as well. Riley Batta had another double-double with 23 points and 10 rebounds while blocking 5 shots.
The Titans are 9-1 on the season and are heading to Atla-Aurelia on Friday.

East Sac rallied down 12 in the 4th quarter, getting a three from Makenna Steiger with around 2:00 left to take the lead, then held on to win their second in a row. The Raiders shifted to an aggressive man-to-man defense, creating turnovers and forcing the Monarchs into quick shots. Those extra opportunities combined with good shooting behind the three point line helped the Raiders rally. They finished the game, hitting 10 of 19 from beyond the arc with Steiger going 7 of 10. The Raiders hit 15 of 21 from the free throw line, helping to clinch the win.
Makenna Steiger had a great game, leading the Raiders with 25 points along with 6 assists. Mary Bontrager chipped in with 13 points and 5 assists. Kendall Quirk had a nifty double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds.
The Raiders have won 2 straight, improving to 2-8 overall. they host Cherokee on Thursday.

Glidden Ralston clicked all night on offense, scoring at least 15-points in each quarter. The game had 58 free throws as both teams were aggressive on both sides of the floor. The Wildcats led 35-23 at half, then opened things up by holding the Rockets to 4-points in the 3rd quarter, increasing their lead to 23 points.
Paige Klocke and Tiela Janssen were big all night for the Wildcats, finishing with 24 points and 21 points respectively. Kassidy Wenck added 7 points.
Emma Leiting paced the Rockets with 8 points, Maggie Ragaller and Makayla Schrad both had 6 points. Kora Obrecht pulled down a team high 7 rebounds.
The Wildcats improved to 7-4 overall and 6-3 in the Rolling Valley Conference. Ar-We-Va falls to 4-5 overall and 3-5 in the Rolling Valley Conference. Glidden Ralston heads to Exira-EHK on Friday. Ar-We-Va travels to CAM Anita on Friday.

The Rockets hosted Boyer Valley for the of a home and away series this week with the Rockets heading to Dunlap on Thursday. The Rockets battled back in the 2nd half, but couldn’t recover from trailing 30-9 at half. The loss drops the Rockets to 0-10 on the season and 0-6 in the Rolling Valley Conference.

IKM-Manning hung tough with the 9th ranked Eagles in the 1st quarter, trailing 15-9. The offense went cold in the 2nd quarter and couldn’t get started in the 2nd half as the Eagles outscored the Wolves 34-5 in the 2nd half. IKM-Manning shot 12.8% from the field and 2 of 11 from the three point line. They turned the ball over 27 times which led to easy buckets for Underwood.
Mabel Langel led the Wolves with 8 points, Anna Stangl added 6 points and Morgan Hanson finished with a team high 6 rebounds.
The loss drops the Wolves to 4-6 overall and 4-3 in the Western Iowa Conference. They will host LoMa on Thursday on 93.7 KKRL.
