It was a rough start for the Raiders as nothing bounced their way on Friday night in Treynor. The Raiders had a 1st and goal from the 9 late in the 3rd quarter but turned it over on an untimed down. An interception returned for a touchdown to begin the 3rd quarter for the Raider offense told the story of the night for East Sac. They trailed 27-0 at the end of the 1st quarter and were down 48-0 at half. The Cardinals couldn’t miss in the passing game, finishing 20-21 for 233 yards and 2 touchdowns. The Raiders run defense held them to 106 yards on 22 carries but did give up 4 touchdowns. The Raider offense struggled, picking up 27 yards on the ground and throwing for 44 more yards. East Sac continues to be strong returning kickoffs, with Charlie Veit taking one back 25-yards and Tate Lahr having a 19-yard return. Sam Julin had a 50-yard punt. The Raiders turned it over 3 times.
