Kuemper earned their second dual of the season on Tuesday, having a strong round on a nice but windy day at the Carroll Muni. The Knights used a strong game from their #1 and #2 players in Addy Beiter and Elsa Tiefenthaler to grab a commanding lead, outshooting the Monarchs top 21 strokes combined. Giada Lujano had a strong round with a nice drive and approach on the 8th hole, finishing with a 47. Ella Pick and Brooklyn Lahr both finished with 57’s for Kuemper helping them clinch. Pick had a great second shot on #3. Addy Beiter was the Medalist with Elsa Tiefenthaler earning Runner-Up Medalist. Emily Bahnsen led Denison Schleswig with a 48. Their other five golfers shot between 52-55.
Addy Beiter had six par’s during her round, including holes 1 and 2, which she started on. She also shot par on 4, 5, 6 and 7, finishing with a 40. Elsa Tiefenthaler shot a 42 with three par’s on holes 1, 4 and 9. Giada Lujano shot par on #8, shooting a 47 with Ella Pick and Brooklyn Lahr both shooting 57.
The Knights are off until Monday when they head to Harlan.
