The Rockets suffered their first loss of the season but took away some positives from their performance. They battled hard in the first-two sets, having a chance to even the match at a set a piece, dropping set two 25-21. Paton Churdan hit the ball well with Alivya Smith leading them with 7 kills. Head Coach Makayla Sparr was happy with the way the girls swung and battled through long rallies. She says they will focus on coverage and anticipating this week heading into their matchup with Glidden Ralston on Thursday on KIKD 106.7. Mia Russell had a strong game in the back, leading the team with 12 digs and served well with a team high 2 aces.
