Girls Track Results For Monday, April 6th
Ar-We-Va, Glidden-Ralston, and South Central Calhoun at East Sac County
Glidden-Ralston, Ar-We-Va, South Central Calhoun, and East Sac County competed in track on Monday in Sac City, with two events taking home first place. Mya Ridgely of South Central Calhoun won the open 100 with a time of 13.12. Tristin Gorden continued a great season in the throwing competitions and picked up first place in the discus with a throw of 101-04. Seven different events also finished in second at the meet on Monday. In the field events, Amber Ragaller from Ar-We-Va finished second in the long jump with a jump of 14-07.50. The Rockets distance medley team also finished second. Bre Patterson of SCC finished second in the 400 meters. For East Sac County, Libbie Veit picked up a second-place finish in the 400 hurdles with a time of 1:14.93. Glidden-Ralston had a couple of fifth-place finishes on Monday. Kassidy Wenck finished fifth in the open 200 with a time of 30.78.
