Boys Golf Results For Thursday, May 2nd

Emmetsburg, GTRA, and Manson NW Webster at East Sac County

The East Sac County Raiders competed Thursday at home in a Twin Lakes Conference quad. The Raiders finished second with a team score of 166. Emmetsburg took home the team title with a score of 152. Bradyn Burns of East Sac County was the medalist, finishing with a round of 36. The runner-up medalist was Jason Matheason of Emmetsburg with a score of 37. Zach Jacobsen shot a 40 which was good for second on the team. Sam Julin finished with a 44, which was third on the Raiders team. Jack Gullett was fourth on the team with a 46. The Raiders are back in action on Friday against Newell-Fonda.

South Central Calhoun at Southeast Valley Quad

The South Central Calhoun Titans golfed well on the road Thursday, finishing second in Southeast Valley. The Titans golfed 170 as a team, which was good for a second-place finish. Landen Kruse of Newell-Fonda was the medalist with a round of 36. The runner-up was Will Comp of Southeast Valley, with a round of 38. For SCC, Caleb Gaffney finished third place overall with a 39. Charlie Nattress was second on the Titan team with a score of 42. Noah Hendricks finished with a round of 44 for the Titans. Caleb Juhl and Kaden Dorman both shot a 45 for the Titans. SCC is back in action on Wednesday at the 2A sectional in Carroll.

Riverside at IKM-Manning

The IKM-Manning Wolves fell just short at home against Riverside on Thursday. As a team, IKM-Manning finished with a team score of 186, which was slightly behind Riverside, who finished with 182. Peyton Andor of Riverside was the meet medalist with a score of 41. Josh Walker of IKM-Manning was the runner-up, also finishing with a 41, but due to a tiebreaker finished second at the meet. Ashton Ahrenholtz was second on the Wolves team with a 47.  Miles Nuzback was third on the IKM-Manning team with a score of 48. IKM-Manning is back in action on Wednesday at sectionals in Fort Dodge.

Carroll at ADM

The Carroll Tigers finished in second Thursday in ADM at a Raccoon River Conference triangular. As a team, Carroll finished with a score of 173. ADM won the meet by 30 strokes finishing with a 143. Boone finished in third with a 190. The meet medalist was Carter Madison of ADM, with a round of 35. Easton Korell of ADM also shot a 35 but finished as the runner-up. Will Schultes and Wyatt Ragaller both shot a 42 for Carroll. Stone Sibenaller was third on the team with a 44. Moyer Olberding wrapped up the meet with a 45 for the Tigers. Carroll is back in action on Saturday at the Kuemper tournament.
