East Sac County at Manson NW Webster

The East Sac County Raiders took second at a quad in Manson on Thursday. As a team, the Raiders finished with a score of 180. Newell Fonda won the meet, shooting a 169. Zach Jacobsen shot the low score for the Raiders, a 40. Jack Gullett was second on the team, with a 44. Sam Julin, Bradyn Burns, and Tucker Grossly also shot in the high 40s for the Raiders. East Sac County is back in action on Friday against Newell Fonda.

South Central Calhoun at Lake Creek Country Club

The South Central Calhoun Titans finish in second in a triangular against Alt-Aurelia and Southeast Valley. The Titans finished with a team score of 181, which just edged Southeast Valley, who finished with an 183. Alta-Aurelia finished in first place with a score of 162. Jack Bloom of Alta-Aurelia was the meet medalist and finished with a round of 36. Isaiah Segovia of Alta-Aurelia was the runner-up with a 40. For the Titans, Caleb Gaffney shot a 41, which was the lowest score for SCC. Brock Nattress finished with a round of 44, which was second for SCC and good for seventh place at the meet. Kaden Dorman and Caleb Juhl both shot a 48 for the Titans. South Central Calhoun is back in action on Friday against OABCIG.

Kuemper at Denison-Schleswig 

The Kuemper Knights continue to play great golf down the stretch of the season with a win against Denison-Schleswig and Lewis Central. The Knights finished in first with a team score of 168. Denison-Schleswig also shot a 168, but due to a tiebreaker, Kuemper finished in first. The meet medalist was Easton Emory of Denison-Schleswig, who shot a 37. The runner-up was Jack Lenz of Kuemper, who shot a 41. Carter Putney and Kayden Schon each shot a 42 for the Knights. Maverick Schwabe took fourth on the Kuemper team with a 43. All six Knight players shot in the 40s. Kuemper is back in action on Saturday at Storm Lake.

Panorama, Woodward-Granger, and ACGC at Coon Rapids-Bayard

The Coon Rapids-Bayard Crusaders took second at home Thursday in an 18-hole meet. Panorama won the meet, finishing with a team score of 311. The Crusaders finished in second with a 330. Evan Powell of Panorama was the meet medalist, finishing with a score of 75. Maddox Hammerstrom of Panorama was the runner-up with a round of 76. For the Crusaders, Logan Kenyon shot a 79, which was the lowest on the team. Max Shirbroun was second for the Crusaders with a round of 80. Toby Benninger and Gavin Heiderscheit both finished with scores in the 80s. Coon Rapids-Bayard is back in action on Tuesday at CAM.

The Audubon Wheelers knock off Griswold Monday at home. The Wheelers cruised to the victory as they finished with a team score of 177. Colten Taylor of Griswold was the meet medalist, shooting a round of 41. Henry Burr of Audubon was the runner-up with a round of 43. Eval Alt and Oliver Deist both shot a 44 for the Wheelers. Overall, five Audubon players shot in the 40s at Thursday’s meet. Edward Miller finished in fourth on the Wheelers team with a 46. Audubon is back in action on Friday against Riverside.

Tri Center at IKM-Manning

The IKM-Manning Wolves knocked off Tri-Center Monday in golf action. As a team, the Wolves shot a 196, which was good for first place. Miles Nuzback of IKM-Manning was the medalist, finishing with a round of 46. Brant Freeberg of Tri-Center was the runner-up, finishing with a score of 46. Freeberg finished in second due to a tiebreaker. Ashton Ahrenholtz was second on the IKM-Manning team with a score of 49. Zander Richards shot a 50 for the Wolves. IKM-Manning is back in action on Monday against Treynor.
