Boys Track Results Tuesday, April 23rd 

Carroll, South Central Calhoun and East Sac At Manson NW Webster

Carroll earned another meet win with a strong overall performance, winning five events with three relay titles and two individual titles. They scored 128-points to easily outdistance SE Valley, which took 2nd with 89-points.  South Central Calhoun had another strong meet, taking 3rd place with 82-points, claiming four individual championships. East Sac took 7th place with 52-points. The Raiders had one champion but several high finishes in individual events. The Tigers finished with seven individuals in the top 3 with five more finishing in the top 5. They added seven relays finish in the top 3. South Central Calhoun had eight individuals in the top 3 and two more in the top 5. The Titans had one relay in the top 3 and one other relay in the top 5. East Sac finished with five individuals in the top 3, two more individuals in the top 5 and had two relays in the top 5.

Carroll’s depth showed  on Tuesday with three relay titles starting with the Shuttle Hurdle. They ran a 1:09.21 with Carter Smith, Michael Rowedder, Carson Tedrow and Owen Klocke. The Distance Medley won the Tigers second title with Riley Mauro, Carter Essick, Edrik Heisterkamp and Blake Molinsky. They ran a 3:54.70. The final relay championship came late in the meet with the 4×100 running a 46.06 with Reece Ziegmann, Chase Ragaller, Riley Mauro and Jake Jorgensen. Ryan North won both of their individual titles, earning a win in the 800 Meters with a 2:08.89 and the 3200 Meters in 10:18.61. Carroll took 3rd in the 4×200 with Reece Ziegmann, Chase Ragaller, Caleb Vanderheiden and Jake Jorgensen. Evan Schaefer was 3rd in the 800 Meters and Carroll was 3rd in the 4×400 with Caden Mollhoff, Cayden Lueders, Maddox White and Edrik Heisterkamp.  The 4×800 finished 2nd with Evan Schaefer, Dayton Wiederin, Blake Molinsky and Colton Hagen. Dayton Wiederien finished 3rd in the 1600 Meters. Reece Ziegmann, Chase Ragaller, Jake Jorgensen and Maddox White took 3rd in the Sprint Medley. Reece Ziegmann was 2nd in the Long Jump, Caleb Vanderheiden was 2nd in the Shot Put and Gavin Holt took 3rd in the Discus.

Brock Nattress won two of South Central Calhoun’s titles, winning the 100 Meters in 12.11 and the 400 Meters in 52.69. Zakiah Pettigrew earned a 1st place in the 110 Hurdles with a 16.60 and Wyatt Mernka won the Discus with a 118-08. Nattress added a 3rd in the 200 Meters and Andrew Anderson was 3rd in the 110 Hurdles. Kolin Folsom, Andrew Anderson, Hayden Stickrod and Zakiah Pettigrew were 3rd in the Shuttle Hurdle. Andrew Anderson was 2nd in the High Jump and Marshall Bundt took 3rd in the Discus.

Parker Engel won the 1600 Meters for East Sac, running a 4:44.03. Logan Schroeder was 3rd in the 100 Meters, Parker Engel was 2nd with Isaiah Aragon 3rd in the 3200 Meters and Logan Mohr was 3rd in the Shot Put.

Kuemper At Madrid 

Kuemper got a strong night from their top performers, helping them win three individual events and finish in the top 3 in seven individual events. They added three more top 5 finishes individually. The Knights had one relay in the top 5 and two more in the top 5. Kuemper finished 5th as a team with 82.5-points not far behind 4th place Collins-Maxwell with 90-points.

Evan Adams continues to dominant the throwing events, winning both the Discus and Shot Put. He threw 179-08 in the Discus and 47-00.25 in the Shot Put. Ben Gerken won another High Jump, going 6-02. Jacob Greving was 2nd in the both the 1600 Meters and 3200 Meters. DJ Vonnahme was 3rd in the 100 Meters and Ben Gerken was 3rd in the Long Jump. The Knights were 3rd in the 4×100 with DJ Vonnahme, Ben Gerken, Griffin Glynn and Sean Healy.

Ar-We-Va, Coon Rapids Bayard, IKM-Manning and Paton Churdan At Audubon 

IKM-Manning and Coon Rapids Bayard each won a relay championship with the Crusaders Shuttle Hurdle setting a new school record and moving into the top 5 in Class 1A. The Wolves finished 4th with 77-points, leading a stacking of local teams. Coon Rapids Bayard was 5th with 60.5-points and Audubon was 6th with 57-points, tying with Panorama. Ar-We-Va was 12th, scoring 8-points while Paton Churdan finished 14th with 0-points. The Wolves had two individuals in the top 3 and four more in the top 5. They added three relays in the top 3 and three more in the top 5. Coon Rapids Bayard had four individuals in the top 3 and two more in the top 5. The Crusaders had two relays in the top 3 and one more in the top 5. Audubon had three individuals in the top 3 and one more in the top 5 with three relays finishing in the top 3 and one more in the top 5. Ar-We-Va had one individual in the top 3.

Coon Rapids Bayard set a New School Record and moved into 5th place in the Class 1A standings in the Shuttle Hurdle. They ran a 1:02.69 with Johnny Cortez, Parker Hays, Lucas Obert and Cal Heydon. Caden Oswald went 3rd in the 100 Meters and the High Jump with Kolby Culbertson taking 2nd in the High Jump. Oswald added a 2nd place finish in the 200 Meters. The Crusaders were 3rd in the 4×100 with Wyatt Oswald, Kolby Culbertson, Parker Hays and Caden Oswald.

The IKM-Manning 4×800 continues to dominant most of their races. They won another title, going away with Lane Sams, Abe Polzien, Ben Ramsey and Isaac Blankman. They ran a 8:39.82. The Wolves were 2nd in the 4×200 with Jase Lueth, Davis Rasmussen, Abe Polzien and Ross Kusel. Jase Lueth, Abe Polzien, Ross Kusel and Lane Sams were 3rd in the Distance Medley. Isaac Blankman added a 3rd in the 800 Meters.

Adam Obrecht of Audubon was 3rd in the 400 Meters, Brody Schultes was 3rd in the 400 Hurdles and Zeke Konkler was 2nd in the 800 Meters. The Wheelers Sprint Medley team was 3rd with Logan Stetzel, Ely Jorgensen, Mason Steckler and Zeke Konkler. The Wheelers were 3rd in the Shuttle Hurdle with Aaron Olsen, Brody Schultes, Mason Steckler and Gabe Jensen. They added a 2nd in the 4×400 with Aaron Olsen, Zeke Konkler, Adam Obrecht and Brody Schultes.

Blayne Smith ended 3rd for Ar-We-Va in the 1600 Meters. Phoenix Hartman led Paton Churdan with a 13th place finish in the 400 Meters.

Glidden Ralston At Woodward Granger 

Glidden Ralston won three champions in individual events on Tuesday, helping them finish 5th with 72-points at Woodward Granger. The Wildcats had five individuals in the top 3, adding three more in the top 5. They had two relays in the top 3 and one more in the top 5.

Emmett Snyder continues to run well, winning the 800 Meters in 2:08.23. Snyder isn’t the only distance runner competing well. Joe Thelin won the 3200 Meters in 11:52.77 and Wade Hunter has been strong all season in the throwing events and won the Shot Put with a 42-01.00. Thelin added a 3rd place in the 1600 Meters, the Sprint Medley was 3rd with Lucas Christian, Alex Daniel, Jonathan Bergmeier and Landon Rohrbeck. Lucas Christian, Alex Daniel, Jonathan Bergmeier and Landon Rohrbeck took 3rd in the Distance Medley. Jonathan Bergmeier was 2nd in the 400 Hurdles.
