The Kuemper defense was strong all game but fell at home against Glenwood Tuesday. Glenwood controlled the ball on the offense end most of the game. Kuemper only managed two shots in the first and one in the second half. Addy Anthofer started her fourth straight game in goal for the Knights and was fantastic. Anthofer finished the game with 15 saves. The Knights would go on to lose 2-0 to Glenwood on Tuesday. Mckenna Blum recorded two shots on goal for Kuemper. With the loss the Knights fall to 4-5 on the season. Kuemper is back in action on Friday against East Sac County.

Boone at Carroll

The Carroll Tigers fell at home to Boone Tuesday but played better in the second half than the first. Carroll’s defense struggled in the first half, giving up three goals. Carroll also played through some injuries, with other players having to step up and play significant minutes. The Tigers had chances to score on offense but were unable to capitalize on those opportunities. Boone would add one more goal in the second half and go on to win 4-0. Parker Adams had two shots on goal for Carroll. Marin Overmohle recorded 14 saves in goal for the Tigers. With the loss Carroll falls to 1-10 on the season. The Tigers are back in action on Thursday against East Sac County.
