East Sac controlled the action on a windy and cold morning with the game starting at 9:00 AM. They couldn’t catch any breaks on the offensive end, taking 23 shots on goal but scoring one goal. The defense was strong for the Raiders, holding Riverside to 3 shots on goal. Riverside took the lead in the 1st half on a Raider miscue and led 1-0 at half but Chloe Bieret tied the game with a 2nd half goal, sending the game to overtime. Melodee Rench played well in goal in the overtime, making 4 blocks but Riverside scored on kick #8 to win.

Chloe Bieret had the Raiders lone goal and was able to get 7 shots on goal. Sarah Bontrager had 8 shots with Kenna Meyer 7 shots and Cora Mahler with 4 shots. Hannah Pudenz added 3 shots and Melodee Rench finished with a pair of saves.

The Raiders took on Panorama in game 2.

The Panthers struck early with a pair of goals in the first-six minutes, then scored 3 goals in the final 6:00, giving them a commanding 7-0 lead at half. The Raiders bounced back in the 2nd half, limiting the Panthers shots and holding them scoreless for 30:00. Panorama extended the lead to 8-0 with 10:00 remaining, then scored their final goal in the final minute.

Kenna Meyer had the only shot on goal for the Raiders and Melodee Rench finished with 17 saves.

The loss drops the Raiders to 3-4 on the season. They travel to Atlantic on Monday.
