Carroll defense had an outstanding performance against the 3rd ranked team in the state. Carroll held ADM scoreless under less than 10:00 remained in the 1st half. ADM slipped a goal in and led 1-0 at half. The defense again was strong in the 2nd half, keeping the game 1-0 until the 13:00 mark when ADM pushed it to 2-0 finding the corner of the net. They stretched the lead to 3-0 on a 20-yard kick and finished the scoring with 0:26 left on a corner kick. Carroll had a few chances on offense with 6 shots on goal.
Tanner Heithoff continues to play well in goal, finishing with 12 saves. The loss drops the Tigers to 2-5. They square off with Kuemper on Monday at the Athletic Stadium, following the girls contest.
