Boys Track Results Monday, April 15th
Carroll High and Kuemper Catholic At Greene County
Carroll High claimed two championships and Kuemper Catholic had five champions at Greene County on Monday. The Tigers finished tied with Greene County for 2nd with 97-points while Kuemper finished in 5th with 79-points. Carroll had five individuals in the top 3 and three more in the top 5. They added five relays in the top 3 and three more in the top 5. Kuemper had six individuals finish in the top 3 with two more in the top 5. The Knights added one relay in the top 3 and one more in the top 5.
Ryan North of Carroll won a pair of titles in the 800 Meters and the 3200 Meters. He ran a 2:05.74 in the 800 and a 11:04.63 in the 3200. Evan Schaefer added a 3rd in the 800 Meters, Dayton Wiederin was 2nd in the 3200 Meters and Owen Klocke was 3rd in the 110 Hurdles. They were 2nd in the 4×200 with Carter Essick, Riley Mauro, Caleb Vanderheiden and Edrik Heisterkamp. They were 3rd in the 4×400 with Caden Mollhoff, Cayden Lueders, Edrik Heisterkamp and Maddox White. The Sprint Medley was 3rd with Reece Ziegmann, Jake Jorgensen, Maddox White and Edrik Heisterkamp. The Distance Medley was 2nd with Reece Ziegmann, Jake Jorgensen, Maddox White and Blake Molinsky. The Shuttle Hurdle was 2nd with Carter Smith, Carson Tedrow, Michael Rowedder and Owen Klocke.
Evan Adams of Kuemper continues his strong season in the throwing events, winning the Shot Put with a 52-05.50 and the Discus with a 167-07. DJ Vonnahme won the 100 Meters in 11.68, Jacob Greving added a championship in the 1600 Meters with a 4:42.34. Ben Gerken added a title in the High Jump at 6-02. Gerken was 2nd in the Long Jump. The Knights were 2nd in the 4×800 with Thomas Pottebaum, Ryan Sundrup, Wyatt Wunschel and Jacob Greving.

Ar-We-Va and IKM-Manning At Ace Nelson Relays At Denison Schleswig
The IKM-Manning Boys 4×800 won their fifth straight championship at Denison on Monday. They were the only championship for the Wolves and Rockets. Both teams competed well as Ar-We-Va competed in their first outdoor meet of the season. IKM-Manning finished 4th with 85-points and Ar-We-Va was 11th with 18-points. The Wolves had five individuals finish in the top 3 and one more in the top 5. They added three relays in the top 3. Ar-We-Va had two individuals in the top 3.
Abe Polzien, Isaac Blankman, Ben Ramsey and Lane Sams won the 4×800 as the Wolves have won the event in every meet this season. They ran an 8:49.39 with a strong wind on the backstretch. Jase Lueth took 3rd for the Wolves in the 200 Meters, Lane Sams was 3rd in the 800 Meters and was 2nd in the 1600 Meters and Camden Morris was 3rd in the 3200 Meters. The Wolves were 2nd in 4×200 with Jase Lueth, Davis Rasmussen, Abe Polzien and Ross Kusel. They were 3rd in the 4×400 with Abe Polzien, Isaac Blankman, Jase Lueth and Segebart. Ross Kusel was 2nd in the High Jump.
Wyatt Ragaller led the Rockets with two 2nd place finishes in the 400 Hurdles and Long Jump.
Both teams are scheduled to run at OABCIG on Thursday.

Coon Rapids Bayard, Glidden Ralston and South Central Calhoun At SE Valley Coed Invite
South Central Calhoun and Coon Rapids Bayard each had four championship events on Monday with Glidden Ralston placing four individual events in the top 3. The Titans finished 2nd to SE Valley with 119.5-points while Coon Rapids Bayard was 4th with 77-points and Glidden Ralston took 7th with 36-points. SE Valley won the meet with 142-points. South Central Calhoun depth came in handy as the Titans had eight individuals in the top 3 and seven more in the top 5. They added 3 relays in the top 3 and four more in the top 5. Coon Rapids Bayard wasn’t far behind with six individuals in the top 3 and one more in the top 5 along with having three relays in the top 3. Glidden Ralston had four individuals in the top 3 with two more in the top 5 along with two relays in the top 5.
Wyatt Mernka earned one of the Titans titles, winning the Discus with a 119-05. Andrew Anderson continues to excel in the High Jump, taking 1st at 6-00. Redge Potts controlled the 3200 Meters, winning in 11:21.02 and Brock Nattress won the 200 Meters in 24.00. Marshall Bundt was 2nd in the Discus, Brock Nattress was 2nd in the 100 Meters and the 400 Meters and Redge Potts was 2nd in the 1600 Meters. South Central Calhoun took 3rd in the 4×800 with Kayden Hammen, Nathan Dean, Tristan Blair and Alex Masten, 2nd in the Shuttle Hurdle with Kolin Folsom, Andrew Anderson, Hayden Stickrod and Zakiah Pettigrew. Josh Billmeier, Brendan Stone, Kayden Hammen and Redge Potts took 3rd in the Distance Medley.
Cal Heydon won the Shot Put for Coon Rapids Bayard with a 46-08.50, Caden Oswald was the 100 Meters champ in 11.92 and the Crusaders won the Shuttle Hurdle with Lucas Obert, Johnny Cortez, Parker Hays and Cal Heydon in 1:04.54. They added a championship in the 4×200, running a 1:37.63 with Wyatt Oswald, Mason Culbertson, Parker Hays and Caden Oswald. Kolby Culbertson was 2nd with Caden Oswald 3rd in the High Jump, Cal Heydon was 2nd and Lucas Obert 3rd in the 110 Hurdles. The Crusaders were 3rd in the 4×100 in 46.29 with Wyatt Oswald, Kolby Culbertson, Parker Hays and Caden Oswald.
Wade Hunter had a strong showing in the Shot Put for Glidden Ralston, taking 3rd, Jonathan Bergmeier was 3rd in the Long Jump and Joe Thelin was 3rd in the 3200 Meters. Emmett Snyder added a 3rd in the 400 Meters.
