Girls Track Results For Monday, April 15th
Carroll and Kuemper at Greene County
Carroll and Kuemper traveled to Jefferson Monday for the Ram Relays, walking away with six combined events, finishing in first place. The Tigers had a strong showing in the field events, with Emma Kuhlmann taking home a first-place finish in the shot put with a season-best throw of 40-00.50. Olivia Rowedder of Carroll finished first in the discus with a throw of 114-09. For Kuemper, Morgan Masching picked up a first-place finish in the long jump. Mashing’s best jump was 15-11.75. Carroll also finished in first in two relays. The Tigers Sprint Medley team kicked off the running events with a come-from-behind finish in the race. Libby Perkins, Brenna Goins, Marasyn Wittrock, and Marie Dea ran a time of 1:55.61, which was good for first place. Carroll’s shuttle hurdle team also came in first as Averi Burke, Autumn Fortner, Abby Neppel, and Olivia Rowedder ran a time of 1:13.47. Ellie Sibbel was excellent for the Knights in the throwing events. Sibble finished in second in the shot put with a throw of 36-03 and third in the discus throwing 102-09. Carroll and Kuemper are back in action on Thursday at Carroll.

Coon Rapids-Bayard, Glidden-Ralston and South Central Calhoun at SE Valley
Glidden-Ralston, Coon Rapids-Bayard, and South Central Calhoun competed at Southeast Valley Monday in track with a combined nine events finishing in first place. Eight of those nine first-place finishes came from South Central Calhoun. For Coon Rapids-Bayard, Tyrika Floyd finished in first place in the 200-meter dash running a 28.97. In field events, Tristan Gorden of SCC took home first place in the shot put with a throw of 36-00. Ashley Schlieisman, with a throw of 101-05, finished in first in the discus for the Titans. Glidden-Ralstons Tiela Janssen finished in second in the long jump for the Wildcats with a jump of 14-00.25. Iris Melody swept the distance races by winning the 3000 and 1500-meter runs. The Titans sprint medley, 4×800, and distance medley also picked up first-place finishes. Chloe Judish of South Central Calhoun ran a 2:38.48 in the open 800, which was good for a first-place finish.

Ar-We-Va and IKM-Manning at Denison-Schleswig
Ar-We-Va and IKM-Manning went to Denison for the Ace Nelson Relays, and, one event, came home with a first-place finish. Raegan Garrison of IKM-Manning finished in first place for IKM-Manning in a 3000-meter run. Garrison ran a time of 12:03.93. The best relay finish was the IKM-Manning 4×800. Taylor Beckendorf, Karlee Arp, Raegan Garrison, and Addisyn Bandow ran a time of 11:55.72. The best finish for Ar-We-Va was Amber Ragaller in the long jump. Ragaller finished fifth with a leap of 14-07.50. As a team, the Rockets finished with six points, and IKM-Manning finished with 64.
