Kuemper dominated the game from the start, holding Red Oak to 1 shot on goal while taking a whole bunch of shots on goal, scoring 8 goals with 4 in each half. Carson Kanne had a hat-trick in the 1st half with two of them assisted by Fletch Badding. Tommy Fitzsimmons began the scoring, finding the net with 28:00 left in the 1st half. Kanne got rolling later in the half with the first of his three goals coming at the 15:00 mark off an assist from Fletch Badding. Kanne scored a minute later, making it 3-0 then scored his final goal of the half with 1:00 remaining, off another assist from Fletch Badding.
Charles Mayhall extended the lead early in the 2nd half, making it 5-0. Carson Kanne got his final goal of the night, scoring his fourth goal with 20:00 left. Fletch Badding capped the Knights scoring with goals at the 14:00 and 9:00 marks in the 2nd half. The first was assisted by Carson Kanne with Nicholas Wernimont earning the assist on the final goal. Michael Kasperbauer and the defense were dominant all night as Red Oak didn’t possess the ball much.
Carson Kanne led Kuemper with 4 goals and an assist. Fletch Badding added 2 goals and a pair of assists with Tommy Fitzsimmons and Charles Mayhall scoring the other goals. Michael Kasperbauer had 1 save in goal.

Carroll played well at times against a ranked Greene County team but had to play from behind most of the night as the Rams scored with 36:36 left in the 1st half, then added their second goal with 34:52 left in the 1st half. The Tigers defense settled in after that, holding the Rams scoreless until late in the half when Greene County scored with 1:21 left to lead 3-0 at half. The Tigers offense had some opportunities but weren’t able to capitalize as the Rams only allowed 6 shots on goal.
A pair of quick goals in the 2nd half doomed the Tigers as Greene County scored with 17:09 and 16:48 left in the game to lead 5-0. The Tigers received a penalty kick from Landon Petersen with 9:37 remaining, putting them on the board.
Tanner Heithoff had a busy night in the net, finishing with 12 saves. Chase Ragaller led Carroll with 3 shots on goal and Landon Petersen scored a goal on 2 shots on goal. Kieran Polking added a shot on goal.
The Tigers fell to 1-2 on the season and will host LoMa on Friday.

The Raiders had a chance late to tie the game and try and get it to overtime. A free-kick went off the Panthers goalies hands into a Raiders head but missed wide. East Sac battled very hard all night and Head Coach Sam Ellis was proud of the way they battled. They finished the match with 15 shots and 9 on goal, scoring 4 times. The match was close all game with the Raiders down 3-2 at half. Luke Wernimont and the defense were busy against a strong Rams attack with Luke Wernimont finishing with 21 saves.
Isaiah Aragon paced the Raiders offense with 8 shots on goal, scoring 3 times, adding an assist on a goal by Brendyn Conn. Coon had an assist on one of Isaiah’s goals and Wyatt Smith also had an assist on an Aragon goal.
The Raiders slip to 1-1 on the season and host Riverside on Monday.
