The East Sac County Raiders picked up their first win of the season, pitching a shutout against Logan-Magnolia on the road. Kenna Meyer scored the game’s first goal four minutes into the match to make it 1-0. Meyer picked up her second goal of the game in the first half to extend the Raiders lead to 2-0 with over 17 minutes left in the half. Cora Maher added to the ESC lead four minutes later to make the score 3-0. All four of the Raiders goals came in the first half. With three minutes left in the half, Chloe Bieret pushed the Raider lead to 4-0. ESC controlled the ball on the offensive end in the second half but failed to score on any opportunities. With the win, East Sac County improved to 1-0 in the season. The Raiders are back in action on Thursday at Panorama.

The Carroll Tigers dropped their conference opener on the road at Bondurant-Farrar Monday night. The Tigers played well in the first half. Bondurant got the scoring going early as they picked up six quick goals in the first half. Amanda Wardell played well on the back line for the Tigers. Bondurant-Farrar picked up a couple of quick goals to start the second half. The final goal came with about 15 minutes left as the Tigers fell 10-0 on the road Monday. Sienna Becker covered the middle of the field well for the Tigers in the loss. Marin Overmohle continued her excellent start to the season with 17 saves against Bondurant-Farrar. With the loss, Carroll falls to 0-2 in the season and 0-1 in conference play. Carroll is back in action on Thursday at Greene County.
