Kuemper never trailed, building a 11-point lead early but East Sac fought back, down by 3 in the 3rd quarter before the Knights pulled away in the 4th quarter to earn their 10th straight win, sending the Raiders to back-to-back losses. The Knights got hot from the outside early, then attacked the rim when East Sac switched from a 2-3 zone to man-to-man. The Raiders fought back as Caleb Eichorn got going in the 2nd quarter, helping the Raiders battle back from down 26-13 heading into the 2nd quarter to trail 40-35 at half. With Eichorn knocking down midrange jumpers it open things in the post for Luke Wright and Ryan Clair. The Raiders pulled within 43-40 in the 3rd but Carson Kanne took charge for the Knights, started attacking the lane for layups and short jumpers. Kuemper led by 9 at the end of the 3rd quarter, then stretched the lead in the 4th quarter.

Michael Kasperbauer helpe the Knights set the tempo to start the game, hitting a deep 3 from the left side. East Sac answered with Luke Wright inside but Kasperbauer hit another 3, this time from the right side. Carson Kanne scored and Jack Badding stretched the Kuemper lead to 10-2. A Brock Badding 3 made it 13-2. East Sac settled, going to a man-to-man and getting the ball inside to Luke Wright and Ryan Clair. Kuemper attacked the man-to-man off the dribble as East Sac took away the outside shot. A Tregan Beiter 3 put Kuemper up 20-7 late in the 1st quarter and they lead 26-13 after the first-eight minutes. Sam Julin knocked down a 3 for East Sac to start the 2nd quarter and they grabbed some momentum. Carson Kanne answered with a 3 for Kuemper but quick buckets by Jackson Rubendall and Caleb Eichorn pulled the Raiders within 9 at 29-20. The Knights held tight, going back up 34-22 on a bucket from Carter Putney. Luke Wright scored back-to-back baskets for the Raiders but Kuemper went back up by 14 with baskets from Jack Badding, Ben Gerken and Tregan Beiter. The Raiders closed the half on a 9-0 run with Ryan Clair scoring 7-points and Luke Wright the other 2-points.

Carson Kanne took over early in the 3rd quarter for Kuemper, putting them up 43-35. Sam Julin hit a 3 and Luke Wright scored inside to cut the Knights lead to 43-40. Tregan Beiter hit a big 3 for Kuemper and the Raiders wouldn’t get any closer. The Knights lead went back and forth at 5 to 7-points. Carson Kanne and Brock Badding hit buckets with Badding adding an and one to stretch the Kuemper lead to 58-45. The Raiders would get as close as 9 a few times in the 4th but the Knights wore them down and went on to win by 15.

The Knights had four players in double figures with Carson Kanne leading the way with 20-points along with 5 rebounds and 3 steals. Tregan Beiter added 18-points and 3 steals, Jack Badding and Michael Kasperbauer both had 14-points with Kasperbauer adding 4 assists.

Ryan Clair had a strong game for East Sac with 26-points and 12 rebounds. He added 5 assists. Luke Wright had 14-points and 9 rebounds. Caleb Eichorn had 10-points.

The Knights won their 10th straight to move to 10-1 and will host Denison Schleswig on Tuesday. East Sac falls to 7-2, having lost 2 in a row and will head to Greene County on Tuesday.

The Rockets have won fourth in a row, improving to 7-4 on the season, earning a big win at home on Saturday. The Rockets started quickly, outscoring the Wildcats 17-8 in the 1st quarter. They used a balanced attack with three players in double figures and seven players scoring at least 5-points. The lead grew in the 2nd quarter and Ar-We-Va led 29-17 at half. Woodbury Central cut into the lead in the 3rd but Ar-We-Va has been closing games better and dominated the  4th quarter, outscoring the Wildcats 19-2 to win going away.

Blayne Smith led the Rockets with 14-points with 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Emmett Neumann continues to be trouble inside for opposing teams, scoring 12-points with 10 rebounds. Wade Ragaller had 12 points while Harley Molina scored 8-points, adding 8 rebounds. Wyatt Ragaller finished with 6-points and Tyson Von Glan had 5 rebounds.

The Rockets will look for their fifth straight win when they host Coon Rapids Bayard on Tuesday.
