The Carroll girls Swim Team swam a great meet at Fort Dodge on Thursday. The Tigers beat Spencer but fell short of Fort Dodge. Emma Myers qualified for the stats swim meet in the 100 breaststroke swimming a time of 1:07.35. The Tigers started the meet off, taking third and sixth in the 200 Medley. The third-place team was Mai Wellingerhof, Emma Myers, Hailey Burns, and Natalie Kent. Kent also took second place in the 200 free swimming, a time of 2:19.08. Amelia Holt was second in the 50 free with a time of 26.28. Emma Myers was second in the 100-fly swimming with a time of 1:05.29. Zelda DeMoss was third in the 500 free with a time of 6:10.03. Emma Myers took home first place in the 100 breaststroke swimming a time of 107.35, which qualified her for the state meet. The 400 free relay team of DeMoss, Myers, Holt, and Kent took home second, swimming a time of 4:01.85.
