Glidden Ralston used quick starts in both halves to hold on for a road win Friday night, downing Woodbine 32-28. They scored a pair of touchdowns in the 1st quarter and in the 3rd quarter, converting on all four 2-point conversions. The defense allowed a touchdown in each quarter but stopped 2-point conversions in both the 1st quarter and the 4th quarter. The running game was effective, averaging 5-yards per carry on 49-attempts. They didn’t have to throw the ball much, finishing 4-6 for 29-yards. The success of throwing the ball kept pressure off the run game.
Colby Wallace led the Wildcats, running for 146-yards on 25 carries, scoring a pair of touchdowns. Emmett Snyder added 57-yards on 14 carries, adding a pair of touchdowns. Wallace added a 2-point conversion, Snyder had 2-2-point conversions and Waylon Hein had a 2-point conversion.
