Carroll struggled on offense, falling in the opening round of the post-season on the road at Clarinda. The Merchants were out hit 11 to 3 with Cullen McBride picking up 2 of the Carroll hits. Clarinda scored a run in each of the 2nd and 3rd innings. Carroll cut into the deficit in the 5th when Cullen McBride knocked in Blake Tigges, who had walked. Clarinda responded with 4-runs in the bottom of the 5th to distance themselves from Carroll. Joshua Koskie had the other hit for Carroll and Lane Spieker walked. Aiden Sieperda threw a pair of innings, allowing 2 hits and an earned runs while Braden Karnes pitched 6 innings, allowing 9 hits and 5 earned runs.
The Merchants finish their second season in the league at 24-21.
