Brincks Exteriors Sports Report: Paton Churdan Track at Madrid State Qualifying Meet

Class 1A State Qualifying Meet Madrid – Paton Churdan

The Paton Churdan Rockets were in action Thursday competing for a chance to go state at their qualifying meet at Madrid. The Paton Churdan girls finished 12th overall with 12 team points. For the girls, South Hamilton won with 97 points and Madrid for the boys won with 153 points.

Becca Anderson had a solid day for the Rockets with a fourth-place finish in the 200-meter dash with a time of 28.56 and in the long jump with a best jump of 15-05.00. The girls sprint medley relay, composed of Bailey Anderson, Ava Minnehan, Calleigh Fitzpatrick, and Becca Anderson, finished seventh overall with a final time of 2:12.28.
