Boys Golf Results for Monday, May 8th

Carroll at Raccoon River Conference Meet at North Polk

The Carroll Tigers came away from the Raccoon River Conference meet at North Polk with a sixth-place team finish and three solid individual finishes Monday. As a team, the Tigers tied with Carlisle with a score of 328. Gilbert was crowned Raccoon River Conference champions with a score of 292. 

Bryce Berlau ended up with the top finish for the Tigers finishing 10th overall and was named an all-conference selection. Wyatt Ragaller and Miles Bogue were named honorable mention all-conference selections as they ended the day with scores of 82 and 84 respectively. Alek Sinnard rounded out the top four scores for Carroll with a score of 87 on the day. Wade Ragaller was just outside the top four for Carroll with a score of 88 followed by Alec Ball who ended up with a score of 91. 

The Tigers are back in action on Wednesday, May 10th when they have their sectional golf meet at the Carroll Country Club.

IKM-Manning at Treynor

The Treynor Cardinals hosted IKM-Manning on Monday and the Wolves ended up with solid scores, but not the win. The Wolves scored 218 compared to Treynor’s winning score of 159. 

Josh Walker and Zander Richards both ended the day with the same score of 52 overall. Ethan Konz of Treynor ended up with medalist honors with a score of 33 followed by teammate Aaron Ehmke with runner-up medalist score of 38. Kasche Huehn ended up with a score of 54 and Devyn Sander followed him up with a score of 60 to round out the Wolves’ top scorers. 

IKM-Manning will be back in action on Wednesday, May 10th when they compete at their Class 1A sectional meet at Tri-Center.

Riverside at Audubon

The Audubon Wheelers were able to claim another one-on-one victory as they took on Riverside Monday. The Bulldogs did not bring a team to this meet, giving the Wheelers the automatic win. 

On the course, the Wheelers shot an impressive 159 as a team with Oliver Deist and Edward Miller leading the way with the same score of 38. In the playoff, Deist was able to win it to be crowned medalist while Miller took home runner-up medalist. Henry Burr rounded out a solid top three for the Wheelers with a score of 39. Evan Alt ended the scoring for the Wheelers with a score of 44. Jay Remsburg and Ryan Hermansen were outside the top scores, but they did well with the same score of 45. 

The Wheelers are back in action on Wednesday, May 10th for their Class 1A Sectional meet at Tri-Center’s Quail Run Golf Course.
