Audubon and IKM-Manning At WIC Tournament At Nishna Hills 

Treynor claimed the Western Iowa Conference Tournament title on Wednesday on a nearly perfect day for golf. The temperature was in the upper 40’s to low 50’s at tee time at 9:00 AM and quickly warmed to the upper 50’s and low 60’s. The Cardinals shot a 313, pulling away from Missouri Valley with Ethan Konz shooting a 69 to win Medalist and Jace Tams finishing Runner-Up Medalist with a 79. Audubon took 3rd with a 342, behind Missouri Valley with a 335. IKM-Manning was 8th with a 402 with four golfers on the course from them.

Audubon had two golfers finish in the top 10 with Edward Miller taking 7th place and Oliver Deist also shooting an 82, finishing in 9th place. Jay Remsburg and Ryan Hermansen gave the Wheelers four golfers in the 80’s with both shooting a 89. Miller was 39 on the front nine and 43 on the back nine while Deist was extremely consistent with an 41 on the front and back nines.

Josh Walker continues to set the pace for IKM-Manning, leading them with an 95, followed by Zander Richard with a 98, Kasche Huehn a 102 and Devyn Sander a 107.

Audubon Vs Underwood- Dual held as part of the WIC Tournament

Danny Stein of Underwood earned Medalist honors with Edward Miller of Audubon as Runner-Up Medalist. Stein shot an 80 to edge Miller who finished with an 82 while his teammate Oliver Deist also shot an 82. All four Wheelers golfers shot in the 80’s while Underwood had three in the 80’s and one in the mid 90’s.
