A fourth consecutive victory was etched into Kuemper’s most recent winning streak Tuesday as they hosted Boone. The Knights have been on a roll recently, getting past Harlan, St. Edmond, and Audubon. The Knights only dropped two sets against Boone, one in singles and one in doubles. Aside from those losses, they went 65-34 in sets.
Sophie Rohe had the only singles loss for the Knights as she took on Morgan Kathman. Rohe had some sets go her way, but she ultimately fell 8-3. She got some revenge in doubles when she teamed up with Ella Schwarte and the duo defeated Kathman and Gracie Gustafson 9-7. The most dominant singles match came when Keziah Janssen got past Megan Rose 8-0. Ella Schwarte had the next best singles game when she got past Gracie Gustafson 8-2. In doubles Sophie Tidgren and Kaylie Simons dominated with an 8-1 win over Lucy Hansen and Megan Rose.
The Knights are back in action when they host the Hawkeye 10 Conference Tournament on Wednesday, May 3rd.

After splitting singles wins, the Audubon Wheelers were unable to get past the doubles wall of Southwest Valley Tuesday. Audubon went 3-3 in singles games and were 0-3 in doubles games.
In singles, Audrey Jensen, Gery Anderson, and Ava Slater were able to pick up wins. Jensen continues a solid streak of singles wins by getting past Charlee Larsen 8-4. Anderson had a back-and-forth battle with Anjali Kathikar but she ultimately was able to win 8-5. Slater saw a similar close game as well against Ryanne Mullen, but Slater was eventually able to win 8-6. Joselynne Moreno and Rachael Rynearson battled well in their singles games but fell 8-4 in the end.
In doubles, Jensen and Anderson took the Southwest Valley duo of Larsen and Mullen to the limit by forcing extra sets, but the Audubon duo were unsuccessful falling 9-8 after a 7-2 tiebreaker loss. Slater and Rynearson had a solid doubles game as well, but they’d fall as well 8-5 to Karissa Richey and Natalia Zimmerman.
The Wheelers are back in action on Thursday, May 4th when they travel to take on Clarinda.
