Drake Relays
Ben Gerken of Kumper Catholic competed in the High Jump, matching his season high, clearing 6-05. Gerken advanced into the fourth height, getting the opening height 6-1 on his second attempt. He was able to make 6-3 on his second attempt as well before getting 6-5 on the second attempt as well. He went out at 6-7 and finished in a tie for 14th place.
Carroll At Storm Lake
The Tigers were edged in the team race by three points by Humboldt as the two teams pulled away from the rest of the field. Carroll scored 123 points, having six champions and seven more events take 2nd or 3rd place. Humboldt claimed the team title with 126 points with Pocahontas Area taking 3rd with 99 points.
Ryan North claimed another title in the 1600 Meters in 4:59.55 along with the 3200 Meters in 10:48.16. Colton Wieland had a strong day in the discus, winning the event with a 132-03. Carroll added a title in the Sprint Medley with Reece Ziegmann, Austin Tigges, Jack White and Edrik Heisterkamp in 1:41.08 and the 4×200 in 1:35.47 with Reece Ziegmann, Trey Hunter, Austin Tigges and Jack White. They also won the 4×400 in 3:34.40 with Edrik Heisterkamp, Trey Hunter, Austin Tigges and Jack White.
Blake Molinsky continues a strong season, taking 2nd in the 1600 Meterss, Riley Mauro took 3rd in the 400 Meters. Trey Hunter was 2nd in the High Jump, Reece Ziegmann took 3rd in the Long Jump and the Distance Medley team was 2nd with Caden Molhoff, Carter Essick, Edrik Heisterkamp and Ryan North. The 4×100 team added a 2nd place with Reece Ziegmann, Trey Hunter, Austin Tigges and Jack White while the 4×800 team of Dayton Wiederin, Blake Molinsky, Evan Schaeffer and Caden Molhoff was also 2nd.

Audubon, Coon Rapids Bayard, Glidden Ralston, IKM-Manning and Paton Churdan At ACGC
IKM-Manning’s depth helped them roll to another championship on Thursday at ACGC. The Wolves scored 191 points to ACGC 128. Coon Rapids Bayard pushed IKM-Manning for championships, helping to propel them to 3rd place with 96 points. Audubon had several titles as well, helping them to finish 4th with 87 points. Glidden Ralston was 7th with 52 points and Paton Churdan didn’t have anyone place but showed growth with a young and small team. The Wolves led the way with six championships and finished in 2nd or 3rd place with 13 more individuals or relays. Coon Rapids Bayard had five champions along with finishing 2nd or 3rd in four more individual events or relays. The Wheelers won four titles with three more events taking 2nd or 3rd and Glidden Ralston added a 3rd place finish.
Reed Hinners helped the Wolves with a title in the 3200 Meters, running a 11:10.20. The Wolves dominated the relays, winning the 4×200 with Jase Lueth, Cooper Irlmeier, Eli Dreyer and Ross Kusel in 1:33.73. They won the 4×400 in 3:37.25 with Hunter Smith, Eli Dreyer, Cooper Irlmeier and Ross Kusel. They added a title in the 4×800 with Lane Sams, Ben Ramsey, Isaac Blankman and Caden Keller in 8:36.78. They claimed a title as well in the Distance Medley in 3:57.60 with Abe Polzien, Max Butler, Lane Sams and Reed Hinners. Cooper Irlmeier added a title in the Long Jump, getting 19-07.00 on his second jump. Davis Rasmussen had a personal best in the 100 Meters, taking 2nd place. Lane Sams was 2nd in the 800 Meters while Caden Keller was 2nd in the 1600 Meters. Nathan Johnson was 2nd in the 3200 Meters, Justin Segebart added a 2nd in the 400 Hurdles. IKM-Manning got 2nd in the 4×100 with Jase Lueth, Justin Segebart, Abe Polzien and Davis Rasmussen. The Wolves were 2nd in the Sprint Medley with Davis Rasmussen, Cooper Irlmeier, Eli Dreyer and Hunter Smith. Ross Kusel was 3rd for the Wolves in the 200 Meters and the High Jump, Caden Keller was 3rd in the 400 Meters. Reed Hinners took 3rd for the Wolves in the 1600 Meters, and Max Butler gave the Wolves a 3rd in the 400 Hurdles. Nolan Kerkhoff set another personal best in the Discus, taking 3rd.
Kolby Culbertson won the title in the 200 Meters for Coon Rapids Bayard in 23.57, Cal Heydon was a champion in the 110 Hurdles with a 16.38 and set a personal best by over a foot in the Discus, winning with a The Crusaders won the 4×100 in 46.00 with Wyatt Oswald, Lance Clayburg, Raiden Doty and Kolby Culbertson. Culbertson was the champion in the High Jump with a personal best at 6-04. Lance Clayburg added another Discus title to his season with a 134-03. Coon Rapids Bayard was 2nd in the 4×200 with Wyatt Oswald, Raiden Doty, Parker Hays and Kolby Culbertson. They got 2nd in the Shuttle Hurdle with Cal Heydon, Lucas Obert, Parker Hays and Johnny Cortez. Cal Heydon had a personal best while taking 2nd in the Shot Put with Lance Clayburg taking 3rd. The Crusaders were 3rd in the Sprint Medley with Wyatt Oswald, Raiden Doty, Parker Hays and Cal Heydon.
Aaron Olsen took 1st for Audubon in the 100 Meters in 11.90, Zeke Konkler, had a great night, winning the 400 Meters in 52.52 and in the 800 Meters in 2:10.73. Audubon won the Sprint Medley in 1:39.46 with Dakota McCrainie, Manny Beisswenger, Aaron Olsen and Zeke Konkler. Audubon was 3rd in the 4×100 with Aaron Olsen, Zeke Konkler, Dakota McCrainie and Manny Beisswenger. They were 3rd in the 4×400 with Mason Steckler, Brody Schultes, Gabe Jensen and Adam Obrecht. The Wheelers got 3rd in the Distance Medley with Logan Stetzel, Brody Beane, Carson Wessel and Adam Obrecht and took 3rd in the Shuttle Hurdle with Manny Beisswenger, Aaron Olsen, Brody Schultes and Mason Steckler.
Joe Thelin of Glidden Ralston took 3rd in the 3200 Meters.
Hunter Saffell had Paton Churdan’s top finish, taking 11th in the Long Jump.
