East Sac and GTRA At Newell Fonda
The Raiders moved their home meet to Newell Municipal Golf Course, giving them an opportunity to play a triangular with GTRA. The Raiders dealt with a windy and cold afternoon but the rain that had fallen earlier in the afternoon had quite by the time they teed off. East Sac finished 2nd with a 216, behind Newell Fonda who finished with a 194. GTRA didn’t have four golfers and didn’t post a team score. The Raiders were led by Kendall Quirk, who golfed a strong round, finishing with a 49. They added a 51 from Sidney Bieret and a 56 from Makenna Steiger. Ella Wilson wrapped up their scores for the team score with a 60. Newell Fonda had three golfers in the 40’s, winning Medalist with Laney Hogrefe, who shot a 46 and Runner-Up Medalist with Grace Erickson who shot a 47. Emma Erickson added a 49 for the Mustangs.
East Sac heads to the OA-BCIG Tournament on Saturday.

The Titans were edged by OA-BCIG a day before the two teams meet in the Falcons Tournament. Friday they golfed at Twin Lakes and on Saturday they will be at Spring Lake. The Titans finished with a 206, getting five of their six golfers in the 50’s. The Falcons finished with a 196, winning Medalist honors with a 45 from Rylee Krayenhagen and Runner-Up Medalist honors with Bente De Vries, who shot a 47. The Titans got a pair of 50’s from Adlen Wheelock and Charissa Nowatzke. Sam Stuart added a 52 and Mia Babcock finished with a 54.

Audubon Girls at IKM-Manning

During one of the coldest, windiest, and wettest days of the spring season, the IKM-Manning Wolves and Audubon Wheelers competed at the Manning-Manilla Golf Course where the Wolves came out on top. IKM-Manning finished up the day with a score of 212 compared to Audubon’s 278.
The medalist honors were split amongst both teams with Kylie Powers scoring a 43 for medalist honors and Kali Irlmeier scoring a 50 overall for runner-up medalists. Ella Richards and Brooke Booth both had scored in the 50s with scores of 52 and 54 respectively. Maeve Nielsen and Eryn Ramsey rounded out the scoring for the Wolves with similar scores of 63.
The Wheelers did not have enough golfers for a team score at this meet. They brought two other golfers aside from Irlmeier. Mari Gleason ended the day with a score of 66 while Alexandra Asmus had a score of 72.
The Wolves are back in action on Monday, May 1st when they travel to LoMa while the Wheelers are at another Western Iowa Conference meet along with IKM-Manning on Wednesday, May 3rd at Nishna Hills Golf Club.
