Girls Track Results Thursday, April 27th
Drake Relays
Shay Sinnard finished 6th in the Long Jump on Thursday qualifying for the finals with jumps of 16-06.25, 17-03.50 and 16-03.25. Her best jumps of the afternoon came in the finals. She scratched on her first attempt, then went 17-05.75 and 17-05.00. Sinnard will compete in more events on Friday. Carroll At Storm Lake
Carroll ran with a different lineup on Thursday with a number of their athletes participating at Drake Thursday or Friday. Their depth gave them a chance to win the meet as they finished 3rd, only 16 points out of 1st place. The Tigers scored 104 points, behind Humboldt with 120 points and Newell Fonda with 115. Carroll has a pair of champions and took 2nd or 3rd with nine more relays or individuals.
The Sprint Medley team started the meet with some excitement, winning with a 1:57.98 with Brenna Goins, Libby Perkins, Marasyn Wittrock and Averi Burke. Their other title also came in a relay, winning the 4×400 in 4:19.42 with Marasyn Wittrock, Amanda Wardell, Katelyn Aden and Averi Burke. Autumn Fortner hasn’t gotten a lot of publicity this season but she’s been fantastic for Carroll, taking 2nd in the 100 Meters and 400 Hurdles. Emma Kuhlmann took 2nd in the Shot Put and the Distance Medley team of Autumn Fortner, Aubrie Drake, Averi Burke and Katelyn Aden took 2nd. Carroll was 2nd in the 4×100 with Brenna Goins, Libby Perkins, Marasyn Wittrock and Aubrie Drake and the 4×200 with Brenna Goins, Marasyn Wittrock, Zoie Feld and Aubrie Drake. The Shuttle Hurdle team had to run a new lineup but finished 3rd with Katelyn Aden, Alexis Edquivel, Autumn Fortner and Sadie Kelly. Shayne Aschinger was 3rd in the Discus and Aubrie Drake was 3rd in the Long Jump.

Audubon, Coon Rapids Bayard, Glidden Ralston, IKM-Manning and Paton Churdan At ACGC
IKM-Manning, Audubon and Glidden Ralston combined for 10 championships out of the 19 events with Audubon claiming five, Glidden Ralston three and IKM-Manning two. The Wolves still claimed 2nd place overall with 129.50 points while Audubon ended in 3rd place with 105 points and Glidden Ralston was 6th with 51 points. Coon Rapids Bayard didn’t have a champion but scored 44 points to finish in 7th and Paton Churdan ended up in 9th with 22.50 points. The Wolves finished in 2nd or 3rd with nine individuals or relays while Audubon added five more 2nd or 3rd place finishes. Glidden Ralston had one event take 2nd or 3rd, Coon Rapids Bayard had three 2nd or 3rds and Paton Churdan finished with one.
IKM-Manning picked up a championship in the 4×200 in 1:58.27 with Grace Carroll, Karlee Arp, Alikxa McGinn and Hannah McKinney. The Wolves won the 4×800 in 11:09.40 with Julianna Stribe, Emmie Ring, Alikxa McGinn and Taylor Beckendorf. Grace Carroll had a strong night for the Wolves, taking 2nd in the 200 Meters while Raegan Garrison was 2nd in the 3000 Meters. The Wolves were 2nd in the 4×400 with Taylor Beckendorf, Madelyn Snyder, Karlee Arp and Alikxa McGinn. The Shuttle Hurdle was 2nd with Abbagail Neiheisel, Amber Halbur, Abby Wanser and Madelyn Snyder. Halbur added a 2nd place in the Long Jump. Madelyn Snyder took 3rd in the 400 Meters, Raegan Garrison continued her strong night, taking 3rd in the 1500 Meters. The Wolves took 3rd in the Distance Medley with Alikxa McGinn, Taylor Beckendorf, Emmie Ring and Julianna Stribe. Amber Halbur ended up 3rd in the High Jump.
Madison Steckler continued her outstanding season, winning the 200 Meters in 26.99 for Audubon. Stefi Beisswenger won a title in the 3000 Meters in 11:48.01. The Wheelers won the 4×400 with Kadence Sporrer, Mattie Nielsen, Addie Hocker and Madison Steckler. They ran a 4:21.48. They grabbed a title in the Sprint Medley in 1:57.32 with Addie Hocker, Michelle Brooks, Madison Steckler and Mattie Nielsen. The Distance Medley team ran a 4:45.75 to win with Addie Hocker, Michelle Brooks, Kadence Sporrer and Stefi Beisswenger. Mattie Nielsen was 2nd in the 400 Meters, Stefi Beisswenger is coming on strong, taking 2nd in the 1500 Meters, Kadence Sporrer was 3rd in the 800 Meters and the Wheelers were 3rd in the Shuttle Hurdle with Michelle Brooks, Mattie Nielsen, Madison Burr and Madison Steckler. Alexis Obermeier had a personal best in the Discus, taking 3rd.
Kassidy Wenck claimed one of the Wildcats titles, winning the 100 Meters in 13.59, Tiela Janssen won the 400 Hurdles, getting a season best time of 1:12.17. Vanessa Koehler prepped for Drake on Friday, winning the High Jump at 5-00. Glidden Ralston took 3rd in the Sprint Medley with Tiela Janssen, BreAnn Hartwigsen, Kassidy Wenck and Ashtyn Klocke.
The Crusaders were 2nd in the Distance Medley with Anna Hart, Lydia Hofbauer, Malia Clayburg and Ella Heithoff. Coon Rapids Bayard was 3rd in the 4×100 with Malia Clayburg, Maddy Mason, Kadey Olson and Anna Hart. Maddy Mason added a 3rd in the Shot Put.
Becca Anderson took 3rd for Paton Churdan in the Long Jump, as she returned from an injury.

The Rockets had a champion and took 2nd or 3rd in four other events, scoring 47 points and finishing in 6th place.
The Shuttle Hurdle team continues to set the tempo winning again with a 1:10.92, running Kora Obrecht, Jamie Hausman, Elizabeth Brunner and Maggie Ragaller. Ragaller added 2nd place finishes in the 100 Hurdles and 400 Hurdles while Kora Obrecht took 3rd in the 100 Meters. The Rockets 4×100 team was 3rd with Elizabeth Brunner, Jamie Hausman, Maggie Ragaller and Kora Obrecht.
