Brincks Exteriors Sports Report: Kuemper and Carroll Girls Fall on the Road Tuesday

Kuemper had their three match winning streak snapped on the road Tuesday, falling 6-0 at Glenwood. The Kights were out shot 27-5, giving up 3 goals in each half. Brianna Wittrock was busy in the net, finishing with 19 saves. Cierra Pudenz led the Knights offensive attack with 2 shots on goal.

The loss drops Kuemper to 4-5. They head to Boone for a tournament on Saturday.

Carroll At Boone

Carroll made a few changes on defense Monday in the 2nd half and continued to work with their new lineup on Tuesday. The defense did a nice job, playing together, getting good efforts from Macie Kennebeck in defensive left and Kloee Jones at sweeper. Boone kept putting pressure on the Tigers, getting 29 shots on goal but the Tigers allowed just 2 goals in the 1st half. Boone added a pair of late goals in the 2nd half to put the game away. Carroll was limited in their offensive attack, due to the pressure by Boone, finishing with 3 shots on goal, all by Parker Adams.

The loss drops Carroll to 1-8 overall as they prepare to head to East Sac on Thursday.
