Brincks Exteriors Sports Report: Audubon Boys Tennis Nabs Huge Win Over Harlan

Audubon picked up their first win in 4-years with a convincing win over Harlan on Thursday. The Wheelers won four of the six singles matches and two of the three doubles matches. They won 36 of the 70  singles games, edging the Cyclones. They were more dominant in doubles, going 22-18. Eli Deist had the biggest win in singles, taking it 8-3 at number two singles. Isaac Jackson at number one singles, and Connor Christensen, number four and Carson Matthews, number 5 singles all won their matches 8-5. Isaac Jackson and Eli Deist won their double match 8-4 while Carson Matthews and Lincoln Sorter also won 8-4.

Carson Matthews rallied from down 3-0 in singles to win 8-5. Connor Christensen and Sawyer Toft rallied during their doubles match. They trailed 7-2 but cut it to 7-6 before falling 8-6.

Audubon heads to Southwest Valley on Tuesday.
