Audubon picked up a huge road win on Thursday, controlling doubles, giving them the team win. The teams split singles 3-3 and Audubon was took charge in doubles getting wins in number one and number three doubles. The Wheelers went 20-17 in doubles with Ava Slater and Rachael Rynearson completed the victory with a 8-4 win. That coupled with Audrey Jensen and Gery Anderson winning their doubles match 8-5. Audubon struggled some in singles going, 32-44 but still managed to win three matches to keep things even going to doubles. Audrey Jensen continues to shine with a 8-6 singles win. Audubon dropped number 2,3,4 singles but Joselynne Moreno won 8-6 and Rachel Rynearson pulled out 8-6 and 9-7 wins respectively.

The win is the first of the season for the Wheelers and gives them momentum heading into Saturday’s tournament at Atlantic.

Rachael Rynearson of Audubon won 9-7 over Anastacia Kay of Harlan 

 

Doubles
