Boys Track Results Tuesday, April 4th

IKM-Manning At Denison Schleswig 

IKM-Manning Boys were edged by Woodbine in a good battle for the top three spots at the meet in Denison on Tuesday. The Tigers won the meet with 140 points, IKM-Manning was 2nd with 130 points and Denison Schleswig ended the night in 3rd with 127 points. The Wolves consistency was the difference between 2nd and 3rd place. They won four events along with taking 2nd or 3rd place nine more times.

Caden Keller won the 800 in a good race with Landon Bendgen of Woodbine. Keller finished with 2:04.20. Reed Hinners picked up another championship, winning the 1600 meters in 4:50.75. The Wolves continue to show off their depth in distance races, winning the 4×800 with Reed Hinners, Ben Ramsey, Isaac Blankman and Abe Polzien. They ran a 8:52.93. They won the 4×400 with Hunter Smith, Eli Dreyer, Ben Ramsey and Ross Kusel in 3:43.98. Davis Rasmussen took 2nd in the 200 meters, Caden Keller set a new PR in the 3200 meters, Will Fara took 3rd in the 110 hurdles and Ross Kusel and Cooper Irlmeier tied for 2nd in the high jump. The Wolves took 3rd in the 4×200 with Justin Segebart, Max Butler, Carson Perdew and Trey Jasa, they were 3rd in the Sprint Medley with Jase Lueth, Davis Rasmussen, Eli Dreyer and Hunter Smith. IKM-Manning finished 2nd in the distance medley with Jase Lueth, Ross Kusel, Hunter Smith and Lane Sams. They were 2nd in the shuttle hurdle with Will Fara, Max Butler, Justin Segebart and Reed Hinners.
