Kuemper had chances until late in the game, giving up a pair of late goals as the match slipped away. The Knights were up 2-1 early with an chance to push the lead to 3-1. They weren’t able to capitalize and Panorama tied the game at 2 by half. Neither team put much offense up early in the 2nd half with Panorama getting a goal to take a 3-2 lead. It was still 3-2 until late when Kuemper tried to push up to tie the game. The Panthers got in behind the defense which was pressing high and scored a pair of late goals to extend the lead.
The Knights had 1o shots in the game with 7 on goal. Emilano Nava and Carson Kanne scored goals for Kuemper with Kanne and Michael Kasperbauer adding an assist each. Kasperbauer added 13 saves in goal.
The Knights fall to 0-2 and will head to Underwood on Friday.
