The Knights competed well, staying close, though they were out shot 30-7 on goal. Brianna Wittrock picked up 19 saves in the goal. Catherine Mayhall and Cierra Pudenz paced the Knights offense with two shots on goal apiece. The Knights fall to 0-2 and will host Lewis Central on Tuesday.

The Carroll Tigers got the 2023 season underway Thursday afternoon as they were on the road to take on Harlan.
The Cyclones in the first half kept the Tigers at arms length with a 5-0 score that got them to halftime. One of those goals was scored off a penalty called in the box. Harlan continued to find the back of the net with another penalty shot and eventually ended the game with a 10-0 win. Kylie Riesberg stayed busy this game and ended up with 13 saves. Parker Adams and Pagie Potthoff both had shots on goals but couldn’t find the back of the net.
The Tigers start off the season 0-1 and are back in action on Monday, April 3rd when they host Bondurant Farrar.
