Carroll suffered a tough loss on the road Saturday, having the game slip away in the 2nd quarter. The Tigers led 11-9 after the 1st quarter but struggled getting stops in the 2nd quarter, giving up 20-points, putting them behind 29-22 at half. The Tigers came out of the locker room and played well on defense in the 3rd quarter but the offense struggled, scoring 6-points, putting them down 39-28 heading to the 4th quarter.
Trey Hunter had a strong day, leading the team with 17 points to go with 5 rebounds, Bryce Berlau and Evan Hammer both had 8 points and Tanner Gotto scored 6 points.
The Tigers fall to 9-9 on the season and will travel to Carlisle on Tuesday.

South Central Calhoun used a big 4th quarter to pull away for a comfortable win on the road Saturday afternoon. The Titans led by 2, 38-36 heading to the 4th quarter but scored 22-points in the quarter. The Titans defense was solid all day, holding Spencer to low double digits in all four quarters. South Central Calhoun hit 21-52 shots from the field, including 9-24 from three. They shot well from the free throw line, going 9-11. The Titans pulled down 33 rebounds.
Gavin Batta had a big game with 25 points and 7 rebounds. Eli Wheelock added 21 points and was tied for the team lead with 4 assists. Keegan Soard led the team with 8 rebounds and Tyler Lightner added 4 assists.
The Titans improved to 14-4 overall, having won three in a row. They head to East Sac on KIKD 106.7 on Tuesday.

The Raiders won their 3rd straight, improving to 9-9 on the season. They took control of the game in the 2nd quarter with Ryan Clair, Aden Vondrak and Sam Julin all making some big shots to put them up 30-24 at half. Julin kept things going in the 2nd half, hitting 4-3’s to help open up the lead. Aden Vondark has been seeing the floor well and kept finding Julin in good position to score. Julin hit 5 of 7 from deep while Ryan Clair controlled the inside, going 6 of 7 from the floor. Vondrak finished with 11 assists as the Raiders outscored the Rams 31-18 in the 2nd half.
Sam Julin led the Raiders with 17 points while Ryan Clair finished with 15 points and 7 rebounds. Aden Vondrak passed out 11 assists and made 3 steals. Caleb Eichorn had 9 points and Luke Wright grabbed 8 rebounds.
The Raiders host South Central Calhoun on KIKD 106.7 on Tuesday.

Glidden Ralston played very well against the top 10 ranked Hawkeyes in the 1st quarter, taking a 9-8 lead into the 2nd quarter. The offense continued to score in the 2nd quarter but West Harrison heated up, building a 28-17 lead by half. Glidden Ralston struggled to score in the 2nd half, scoring 7 points in the 3rd quarter but scored only 2 points in the 4th quarter as the Hawkeyes continued to execute well.
Ethan Olberding led the Wildcats with 7 points and John Whitver chipped in with 6 points.
The Wildcats fall to 3-16 and will head to Coon Rapids Bayard on Monday on 93.7 KKRL.
