Kuemper and Glenwood at Denison Schleswig
The Kuemper Knights were able to fit in one final meet before their regional meet as they took on Glenwood and Denison Schleswig on Tuesday.
The Knights had four wrestlers compete in their two duals. Kyla Wiskus was the only wrestler to pick up a win when she went up against Yarecze Rodriquez of Denison Schleswig. Wiskus won via fall early in the third period at 5:08. Ally Sommerfeld ended up going 0-2 while Grace Hoffman and Sadie Smith went 0-1.
The Knights will compete for a spot at the state wrestling tournament when they compete at their regional meet at the Tyson Events Center in Sioux City on Friday, January 27th.
